Information

Many modern computer systems are using some sort of internal number in order to synchronize their processes to exact points in time. In Unix-based systems, this value is usually called Unix timestamp, Epoch time or simply Unix time and represents the number of elapsed seconds since 00:00:00 on January 1st, 1970, while ignoring leap seconds.

The goal of this website is to present the current Unix time accurately. Therefore, the value is synchronized with our Linux server at a regular interval and is also adjusted by the transmission and code running times on both, the server and the client side.

However, the usage of the Unix time presented at this website is at your own risk as we cannot guarantee for its absolute correctness.
